Do you think a Muslim woman can become a nurse in the U.S?
I want to become a nurse and I was wondering if your allowed to wear a headscarf if your a nurse in America..I know that your not allowed to in France because it's illegal, but are you allowed to wear a Muslim headscarf that just covers ur hair in American hospitals? thanks :)

I don't know of any reason why you wouldn't be able to wear a headscarf as a nurse in a hospital. As a patient, it certainly wouldn't make any difference to me.

Muslims can become nurses in the U.S but if the headscarf is not allowed then you may just have to take it off while you are working. Think of the crash helmet. People may like wearing them on their motorbike but that doesn't mean they are allowed to wear them in the bank.

I don't see why not. This is the United States. You could sue em' out the rear if that was the only reason they wouldn't hire you.
