Am I setting myself up for a fall

Am I setting myself up for a fall?
I'm 21 and I had a really bad breakup after 5 years. He was manipulative and controlling, he never beat me he just made me feel worthless. He threw me out his house when i was 2 months pregnant, then after i lost the baby (ectopic pregnancy) I found out he had been cheating on me for a number of months. I recently got accepted to university, to train to be a nurse. I've found a small 1 bedroom flat to move into. I've met a guy, he's so nice and we really like each other. However, he is moving to France for a year to study. I'm going to end up hurt again aren't I? Should I end it? I don't want to bother my friends with this because they're fed up with me =/.

When you are 21 a year seems a long time. You will find it goes quickly though. It is so easy to keep in touch nowadays if you 2 are meant to be together then a years separation won't part you.

I think you should go out with him and see where it all goes. Keep it open and free and take things slow with the Mr. French. You never know it may work out in the long run somehow. I would just keep my options open though for awhile. It is never a bad idea to take the risk but it is a bad idea to hold on if there is no chance of a future. I have a feeling that if you two date for a bit you will figure it out and if you fall in deep love a distance will not end the relationship. It would just cause a little navigating.

Okay. I've been in a similar situation. I'm pretty sure I can help. I fell in love with an older man when I was 19 years old. He said he was moving to Washington in a few months. Time went on and he and I got closer. A year later, he was still in NJ. I basically moved in with him. I slept in his bed every night. He and I had a different relationship than what I have still experienced. Then again, the topic of him moving came up. He had finally set the date in November. November came. He pushed the date back to May, because he fell in love with me. He was planning to move because his mothers health was getting really bad so HE HAD to go. Eventually, he left. I was so crushed. I sat in my bed every night and cried for weeks. But then the pain eventually went away. I really wish I could say that our relationship was great because he and I had great chemistry. But I think our relationship was great because we both knew it was inevitable that he was going to leave. I think we got along so well because we both knew that we would never have to try and make it last. Sad, but true. Five years later and I still think about him, and talk to him occasionally. But I am in a happy relationship with someone else for 3.5 years now. I think the guy that moved really helped me move on from my relationship before him that was very similar to yours that lasted 5 years. I know this may sound like bad advice, but don't give up spending time with this man because he is leaving. Having him in your life will help you gain experience and, I believe, help you grow as a person. If the two of you are having a good time together... Continue it. Because if you don't, you will always wonder "what if" you hadn't made the best of it while you could. And who knows, unlike me, maybe years later you will see him again. Go for it. It will hurt when he leaves. But it is a great chance for you to grow as a woman. Good luck.

Why do we need medical insurance when we have the European Health Insurance Card

Why do we need medical insurance when we have the European Health Insurance Card?
Why do you need 'medical' travel insurance when travelling to another EU country? Travel insurance is meant to cover injury, hospital fees and nursed flights home etc... BUT! We have the EU Medical Card which covers all of the above. EU Medical Card - Allows a person from an EU state (country) to receive treatment or care in a fellow EU state (country) without payment or the minimum of payment (mainly for EU countries that aren't fully integrated) This means that, for example; I went on holiday from the UK (country of residence) to France and hurt myself. Instead of paying for care I would present this card and the French Health Service would treat me for free and provide care for free and claim back the costs from the UK Health Service at a later date. The card was brought in to allow people to receive care or treatment for free so why do we have medical insurance when we have this card? NB: I am asking about when traveling from one EU country to another. Lisbon treaty full. Agaia I have an answer from someone who hasn't a clue what the card does. The countries need to honour it, it's part of the Lisbon treaty.

Because most places you go, won't honor that card. Most countries you go to in Europe, flat out won't let you in, unless you have seperate insurance. THEY don't want to be stuck with the bill.

Should Jews just build in Judea without paying any attention to what someone says

Should Jews just build in Judea without paying any attention to what someone says?
The UN Security Council this week had nearly passed a resolution written by Abbas - a bandit, a terrorist and an illegitimate president of a nonexistent state, whose term as a “president” of the even this nonexistent “state” expired long ago. All the "civilized" countries, including France and Germany voted in favor. It´s very probable that the text of the next resolution of the United nations will be prepared by Osama bin Laden. The building of the kindergartens, schools and hospitals by Jews in Judea is, of course, far more criminal than killing hundreds of people by the executioners Gaddafi and shooting on the demonstrators from the combat helicopters , and that is why the Security Council is not going to take ANY resolution at all. Moreover, the Libyan dictator, unlike Mubarak , did not face any “condemnation”, and Obama Hillary Westerwelle and Ban Ki-moon, do not demand of him to resign immediately. They do not demand of him even to sstop shooting on the demonstrators. No wonder ; Europe is deeply in love with Gaddafi – and his gas deposits, and Gaddafi has long been permitted practically all; to knock down civilian aircraft with hundreds of civilian passengers, to seize diplomats as hostage, to torture the Bulgarian nurses, who came to Libya to rescue the Libyan children, etc., etc. Gaddafi is a “ useful ghoul” who can not touched. Meanwhile, Westerwelle went to visit the other vampires - the Iranian ayatollahs - to buy out two German journalists of the “Bild” magazine arrested there by Iranian fascists , who would have more reasons to hang Westerwelle himself, who is gay and should by Iranian laws be sent to gallows right from the airport, than these two journalists. Just imagine the screams, tantrums, calling for a boycott and demonstrations if two Western journalists were kidnapped by Israelis! But with Iran, all was quiet, peaceful and friendly. Westerwelle ,when he arrived , " in the first place, thanked his Iranian counterpart, Ali Akbar Salehi, for his commitment to maintain the relationship between our two countries” . According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Germany, “the ministers also exchanged opinions on various issues under the theme of human rights and democratic development.” Israelis, we would be crazy to take the opinion of these European hypocrites and muslim boot-lickers seriously. The only language they understand is “we shall not do what you want from us. And now what? “ Let´s build in Judea, Samaria, Jerusalem, on the land each inch of which cries “I am Jewish” - and when they see we are resolute, they will shut up. Lara, a simple question. Can someone- anyone - take Judea and Samaria from us if we do not agree to surrender it? There are only two powers on Earth who can take it from us by force: USA and China. Now tell me, do you really think Chinese will meddle in the conflict on Arabs´side? And can you imagine Americans fighting against Israelis on the side of Arabs? Jews giving Judea to Arabs ??? Tarimi rosh ve tehaihi, Lara. Magialanu kzat ioter. Medina, I am not "one man". I am just one of the 6 million people who are the citizens of the small but very strong and sharp-toothed country. Lara,"Those arabs don't want to leave, and what can we do? Kill them all?" The same we did in 1948 and 1967. and mind it, we did not "kill them all", but only 180,000 Arabs left. And other 700 or 800 thousands ran. Ozone."Even though I can understand your feelings but I am sorry to say that it just cannot happen in reality at present". Really? What is the difference between the "reality" at present" and the reality of 1948 and 1967?

The ideal would be to keep everything, and let them build their lovely state in Gaza (they would find a way to fit). Sadly, I don't see us keeping Judea & Samaria, I just don't. We should BY ALL MEANS get every inch of Jerusalem back, it is out of the discussion. --- You have a point, but... I don't know everything is so confusing. Those arabs don't want to leave, and what can we do? Kill them all? :/ I wish this was all a bad dream... I want every inch back, every single inch, but it just doesn't seem realistic...
2 :
Don’t you think they’re going to do it anyways? That’s why they need to be stopped now, the Zionist government is greediest government in the world and the Israeli voters feed on it’s greed. Why don’t you just leave the Palestinians alone and give them their dignity?
3 :
I liked your speech, and agreed with 95% of it. But who are you? And what can one man do? "Medina, I am not "one man". I am just one of the 6 million people who are the citizens of the small but very strong and sharp-toothed country." Well, as long as you don't bite anyone with your "sharp teeth", then I say you have potential.
4 :
Israel has become the new South Africa, and look what happened to them. Once you take too many libeties people will get fed up with your arrogance and boycott you till your pips squeek.
5 :
With half a million illegal settlers now in the West Bank it looks as if they have already done it despite the fact the world, including the US admits these settlements are illegal . I wonder how these settlers will feel when the whole of the West Bank comes under Palestinian rule when the 2 state solution is approved.?
6 :
So does that mean any English speaking person can build in England? You miss the point, Israel can build whatever it wants inside of Israel. The occupied territories are not Israel. Libya is not occupying land outside of its borders so it is not an apt comparison. If you wish to say that Palestine is not a country so therefore has no say, that is tantamount to admitting Israel had no right to any of the territory granted in 1948, it was not a country at the time. You are using the time old technique of the "red herring", draw people's attention to other faults so yours are ignored. The fact is Palestinians- or whatever name you wish to call them- have no rights. I admit they do not have life as bad as other places in the word, but just because blacks in the USA had life better then blacks in Rwanda does not mean they can be treated as second class citizens. Where do Christian Palestinians fit in with your "Muslim boot lickers"? Maybe the Israelis should drive all of them out like they did with the Christian farmers around Bethlehem.
7 :
ONLY STUPID PEOPLE BUILD IN OTHERS PEOPLE OWNED LAND. THE DEEDS FOR THE LAND NOT THE BUILDINGS. SOON THEY WILL LEAVE EMPTY HANDED
8 :
Even though I can understand your feelings but I am sorry to say that it just cannot happen in reality at present. I can only say that the G-D of Abraham shall not let you people down no matter what.

Awww she needs to speak with a psychiatrist, without a doubt and they will go from there. And from there, she will only get better. She just wants to know someones there for her.
2 :
of course she's sane, she's just been through a really tough time and needs some support. help her out as much as you reasonably can, and try to talk often. she probably hugs people to feel secure, which is normal for anyone. I hope she recovers from her ordeal well, and that you both go on to be successful doctors!
