I am an american that is planning on moving to france , is there a way to work as a nurse there

No - there's no agreement on equivalence of diplomas between US & France probably - And your US diploma should be registered by the sanitary local authority - mainly if you want to work as a free nurse - 2. Ressortissants de pays extérieurs à l’Union européenne Les étrangers diplômés de tous les pays extérieurs à l’Union doivent passer le concours d’entrée dans un IFSI (Institut de Formation en Soins Infirmiers). Les centres de formation IFSI sont ouverts aux ressortissants étrangers selon un quota (2 % des admis en première année), après réussite à un concours spécifique dont les épreuves, organisées par les DRASS, se composent : - d’une épreuve d’admissibilité comprenant cinq questions de culture générale qui seront aussi un test sur le niveau de français ; - puis de deux épreuves d’admission consistant en une épreuve orale en français et une épreuve de mise en situation. Pour se présenter aux épreuves, les candidats doivent retirer un dossier d’inscription à l’IFSI de leur choix (voir leur liste à la fin de cette fiche). L’ensemble de ces pièces doit être traduit en français par un traducteur assermenté. En cas de succès aux épreuves, les étudiants effectueront deux années de scolarité,

Canadian LPN (nurse) looking for temporary work in Scotland, Ireland, England, Italy or France?
Hi I'm looking to do short work placements in palliative or geriatric nursing which are what my experience is in. Anyone have any ideas where to apply for these jobs? I am a Canadian LPN looking for the opportunity to do some travel for the next year or so in Europe. Excellent references, responsible 51 year old nurse. Open to considering private duty or nursing in a facility. Thanks for any assistance.

Dear friend, by searching on internet you will find many websites specifically or generally have database of penitential employers & job seekers in many fields. And I am sure you find the ones in your industry of interest. CAUTION: Its been noticed by many web user that Employment Frauds are in high rise. Therefore caution is advised. SUMMARY: 1) you will find many industry specific job sites 2) be caution of frauds by simple rule of “ If its too good to be true then it’s a fraud†Wish you Happy Successful & Safe job hunting.

Can an American with an Associates in Applied Sciences(Nursing) easily obtain a nursing job in Europe
Can an American with an Associates in Applied Sciences(Nursing) easily obtain a nursing job in Europe?
If I obtain an associates in applied sciences for nursing here in the US, would it be difficult to get a nursing job in European countries like Sweden, France, England, etc.? What about in Canada?

They may accept your diploma, although a four year degree is stronger, but you may have trouble getting a work visa. Check with the French Consulate in Washington. good luck

Well last time i checked, being in the 10th grade does not qualify you as a R.N. and it is against the law to pose as one when your not!!!!!

One week ago you said you were 16 years old. Did you start college at age 10? An American BSN degree may be accepted if you can pass their license examination and speak fluent French.
