I don't see why not. As an E.U. passport holder, you are entitled to work anywhere in the E.U., and the fact that you already speak French gives you an advantage. Check the national government website for France.

But in any case if you moove here you will need to learn the languages ...if not you wont be able to live properly...it will be the same for a French speaker living in the UK ..it will be quite difficult ... http://www.frenchentree.com/living-in-france/ Welcome to our lovely country.

Best Jobs to apply for in France for british moving to the North

Best Jobs to apply for in France for british moving to the North?
My girlfriend and I are planning to move to Northern France in a couple of years when she has finished UNI. She is a student nurse. Im at current a PCSO and have been for 6 years. At present we both speak basic french but are going to try and learn more before we move. I only have a GNVQ in travel and tourism from 8 years ago. Can anyone recommend any jobs we should look for and if her nursing is recognised in france.

GNVQ in travel and tourism!!! Interesting, send us a private message and a CV. What part of Northern France are you looking at? @ny: Have a horrible feeling your answer in rather inaccurate. We have many doctors and nurses working here that qualified overseas.
2 :
no, medical degrees of any sort never travel, that is, if you got yours in UK, it's valid in UK only and nowhere else, if you have a Canadian medical diploma - it's valid only in Canada, and so on. If she wants her degree to be recognised in France, she will have to undergo a lengthy test, examinations, and so on, and you can fail at the end, and people told me, that it was easier and cheaper just to get enrol into a medical school and do it all over again. So, if you want to move to France for good, she is wasting her time. Unless you plan to return back home some time in the future, then, again, she will be disqualified for not being in active practise, so she would have to undergo a test in UK... and so on. You did not tell us, too, if two years were only studies, or some practical time was allotted to this time frame, because, a nurse with a foreign diploma and no experience is a nobody. If she has some references from some hospital or such, she might hope for a mother's assistant with a medical background, and earn some little euros, or a private caregiver (non-official, not a nurse but rather a helper to the elderly) for some old bedridden person and, too, earn little euros. Her education is useless anywhere abroad.

No - there's no agreement on equivalence of diplomas between US & France probably - And your US diploma should be registered by the sanitary local authority - mainly if you want to work as a free nurse - 2. American Nurse working looking to work in France

American Nurse working looking to work in France?
I am an American pre-nursing student working on a dual major in social working and for some time I have been wanting to experience another culture not through the eyes of a tourist but as a citizen. The country that tops my list is France particularly the city of Marseille. My biggest concern is licensing, the demand for labor, cost of living and wages. I'm somewhat fluent in French, although my pronunciation can use some work.

I don't know about France specifically but nurses seem to be in demand everywhere. You might consider applying for work in the UK - definite demand there. The UK will probably allow you to work there as a highly skilled professional. There are programs for recruiting teachers, nurses, etc. Once you are there it should be easier to get yourself to France...you can do the research MUCH easier.

One week ago you said you were 16 years old. Did you start college at age 10? An American BSN degree may be accepted if you can pass their license examination and speak fluent French.

Please read this article that I found and argue your side. Does this guy have it right?
For-profit health care hurts those who need it most by Hugh Curran There is much debate about health care yet little consideration for the ethical implications, especially the appropriateness of profit motives in the health care industry. Americans do not seek to make a profit from education (kindergarten to grade 12), fire or police departments, yet people seriously listen to â€Å“industry” lobbyists who believe this to be a right in health care. The philosopher Martin Buber defined â€Å“evil” as resulting from â€Å“indecision.” Where health care is involved there is a good deal of indecision, but this indecision is largely the result of disinformation by those who profit from health care. If we begin with the understanding that the health of the whole country contributes to the health of each of us, we can ask if private interests, wishing to maximize profit, should be the arbiters of the public good. They are investor-owned businesses that design health care systems that benefit their investors. From recent polls we know that two-thirds of the public would prefer a system with a public option. More than 60 percent of physicians wish for such a system. Unlike the propaganda of corporate representatives, a public option in health care would provide free choice of physicians for the patient. Lobbyists shamelessly portray the Canadian system in a negative light although I have yet to meet a Canadian who would be willing to adopt the American model. In fact, no country that has a public option would change to the American model for the simple reason that they know that a health care system based on profits would deny insurance to those who are most in need. According to the World Health Organization, the U.S. ranks low in two of three main categories associated with health care: preventive care and cost of care. It is true that in a couple of categories the U.S. excels, such as surgery and medical technology, but there are many other criteria for good health, especially in the area of preventive medicine. In France, whose general health care system is highly regarded throughout the world, providers satisfy the three categories: They provide easier access to medical facilities; life spans are longer; there is lower child mortality, and there is guaranteed health care from cradle to grave financed through tax revenues. The government’s role is to make sure that the whole population has access to care. It protects patients’ rights, helps to work out policy and is the responsible party where health safety is concerned. Despite this, it is not a single payer. America now pays out 17 percent of its gross national product on health while France, Canada and England pay less than 10 percent. The trillion-dollar additional cost that has been under discussion in Congress is based on a 10-year cycle that amounts to $200 billion per year. Compared to the trillion-dollar bailout of banking interests on Wall Street and the trillion-dollar war in Iraq and the continuing hemorrhaging of the auto industry, this is a reasonable amount. The real reason there are such vehement arguments over public options versus private plans does not involve which is superior but which approach has the most to lose. Large corporations, whether HMOs or pharmaceuticals, are intent on creating indecision and doubt in the minds of many Americans concerning universal health care. Most medical professionals, including the 3 million-member American Nursing Association and the American Medical Association, have endorsed health care plans with public options. But with all the lobbying taking place by corporate interests there is a real danger that the public option will be removed. This would be a major setback for both working and unemployed Americans. At this moment 14,000 people per day are losing their health care because of the current downturn in the economy. Democracy cannot long survive if the gaps between rich and poor continue to increase and continue shifting us toward a small wealthy minority and a disappearing middle class. Health care is the largest cause of bankruptcy among the elderly. It bleeds and depletes the resources of families even when one person suffers a serious accident or illness. Although we pay twice the amount per capita as do other developed countries, the results are that we are less healthy. Let us support a public option based on the common good. Hugh Curran of Surry is an adjunct professor in peace studies at the University of Maine. He previously was the director of a Down East homeless shelter.

My argument? Complete freedom of choice in health-care: Good. Socialized medicine: Bad. Bankrupt nation paying for socialized medicine: Even Worse.
2 :
You asked this question yesterday. My answer remains the same. Much of what the writer says is very true. The most important consideration ~~ at least as far as the health care providers are considered ~~ is "Profit" Health care to those who have invested in such is a "business" They don't' really care about a person's health. It's all based on who winds up with the potful of money. Read the article again. It's called 'greed'~~~ and He makes good sense.
3 :
No he doesn't...He is a Socialist Shill. A capitalist hater. Why in the world would someone invest 12 years of college to earn $80,000 a year? Also, does The O'Bama guarantee that a doctor won't get sued? Will a doctor no longer have to pay malpractice insurance? Democracy may not survive as this Educated imbecile is clamoring, But I guarantee you a Republican form of government (the form of government in the US, NOT a Democracy) HAS to have a gap between the rich and the poor or the poor will have NO incentive to better their situation. Also by removing wealth from the one who earns it and gives it to those who don't provides an incentive to do one of two things. STOP making money or go make it where it is NOT taken away from you...Since the latest tax increase in New York City, watch to see how many rich leave that mess and how many poor move in to fill the vacuum.

why won't my head stop hurting

why won't my head stop hurting?
Hello! I'm 22 years old, and my head and neck have hurt for 2 years straight, after a moped accident in france, and it's only gotten worse. sorry if this is long, btw. :( i've done everything i possibly can to fix it. I began exercising, (weights for 15min a day, and jogging for an hour a day,) for 6 months, which didn't help, I began watching what I eat, and ate 3 full, healthful meals a day, avoiding processed foods and sugary or diet drinks (no caffeine, either,) have had a full brain MRI, and a neck MRI, i've seen a chiropractor once a week for 2 years, which does help a little, as do the massages afterwards, I quit smoking, quit drinking, quit doing anything i could possibly think might hurt my body, and i've tried a huge variety of medications (muscle relaxants [the only one that helped without giving me miserable side effects was carispordal], hydrocodone [those two actually help, but i don't like taking them often, but i kinda basically have to, or i can't do anything,] SSRI's, SRNI's [cymbalta,] mood stablizers, anti-compulsive medications, calcium channel blockers off label as a migraine preventative, and probably a few others I haven't mentioned.) I drink only water, i've seen a neurologist, neck specialist, physical therapist, chiropractor, and cardiologist, and nothing. that's all i've got. nothing. AND, for the next 6 days, no pain medication. The doctor started me on cymbalta 3 weeks ago and it actually, though i didn't know it was possible, made my head worse, and i could only sleep for 4 or 5 hours a night at the max... I'm prescribed 40 hydrocodone every 30 days (which isn't enough, but i dont' want to tell my doctor that b/c i dont' want him thinking i'm a drug seeker, though i've hinted it isn't enough,) and 60 carispordol every 30 days (which, again, for me to function like a normal human being for the entire day, isn't enough, but again, i don't want him thinking i'm a drug seeker [i started at a new guy 5 months ago or so, b/c my old one refused to believe it could be my neck and told me it would just go away.] but in 23 days i took all of the medication, b/c my head hurt too much, and i couldn't sleep, so i spent longer awake with it hurting, and so i call up his nurse, who is always rude and obnoxious and i hate, and let her know that i'm out and need a refill, and she goes "no" and i say, "well, can i talk to him" and she said, "no, i mean he's right here, but he's in the middle of a conversation" and i kinda flipped b/c my head was murdering me and i'd been laying down on my bathroom floor throwing up for the past 3 hours b/c my head hurt, and she's just being obnoxious, so here, what do i do? (besides go to the ER, i probably will tomorrow after classes are out so i can get done with finals (in pain! wooooooo!!! D:) -------------------- ---------------------------------------- -------------------- in case you didn't read, basically, i've tried everything, and my head won't stop hurting. it starts at the base of my head, where it meets my neck as a dull ache that always exists, and is always painful and debilitating, then moves upwards and downwards, eventually being a 2-3 inch wide line down my spine, at about 3-5 inches below my shoulders, and with my traps sore (from clenching them though) and a 3 fingered hand wrapping around the back of my head, it is constant, but painful, like someone squeezing it from all sides, but my temples do pound as well as hurt. I get sensations in my arms, on (if i'm typing, like now) the lowest side, where my elbow is, though it's always that spot, whatever position my arms are in, the sensation is slightly painful, but not excruciating. It also has been getting progressively worse since the accident. also, in the accident i was blacked out for 10 - 15 minutes, and hit a tree with my head, wearing a great quality helmet, going 70 km/hr, i bounced on the road on the way to the tree, and was left with no skin on my arms, rocks in my arms, and lots of roadrash on my back. i've been on opiates since then, but stopped for 3 months b/c i thought i might be having rebound headaches, then i later stopped the muscle relaxants, which also didn't work. my neck and head MRIs both came back clean, and no medication works so far work besides hydrocodone (and a friend gave me a percocet 5mg once) and carispordal. basically, what do i do? and who should i try to see next?

I started taking a supplement for cankers called The Canker Spanker, which heals the sores you have and helps prevent new ones. Works great! Anyway, I noticed while taking it that other muscle pain I was having in varies parts of my body were gone. Go figure. It's worth a try! Check them out online or call your local pharmacy to see if they carry it.

Is Britain going to ban the burka

Is Britain going to ban the burka?
ok so i know that france recently banned the burka ( the thing that muslim women wear to cover their faces.) is britain going to do the same. Do you think it should be banned here? ok and before you start, no, i'm not muslim, and i'm not racist.i just want your views. i think some people might argue that britain is a free country so they should be able to wear a burka if they want to, but then because it is a free country, that also means that maybe they shouldn't be allowed to wear it, because it seems a very medieval tradition, and in some ways very sexist. i think sometimes also the people in burkas can look quite intimidating, and a lot of people have said that they will probably use that for terrorist attacks in the future, to hide bombs underneath. i have a muslim friend, but she just dresses like the rest of us, and she said that she thinks the burka is demeaning to women, and she told me that a lot of women wear them cos their husbands want them to, which is totally wrong, and the others think they are serving god. but we both agreed that no matter what you believe, you don't serve god in the things that you wear but in the things that you do. personally i actually find it quite offensive how some people wear burkas, because its quite sexist, and it makes me mad, like how British airways, banned christian staff from wearing crosses because it might be offensive to muslims, yet muslim staff were still allowed burkas . And there was that nurse that was banned from wearing a cross. i think that sometimes we just go too far in trying to prove that we aren't racist, that we actually just throw it back in our own faces and we seem to be racist to ourselves. what are your views on the burka in public in britain?

It's time that people quit catering to the backwards religious. They probably won't but they should.
2 :
Burka will be allowed, politicians are too insecure to ban it.
3 :
It shouldn't be banned. They aren't trying to force it on people, they want to wear it themselves. Saying they look intimidating is your perspective only.
4 :
Stuff the Burka man. Ban 80's fashion. That sh!t should NEVER have made a comeback.
5 :
If a woman commits a crime while wearing a burka there's no clue to her identity. I think it's a public danger...
6 :
Here there is religious freedom and these women do this in homage to their religious beliefs. now, it is taking a way the right to wear burkas, and the choice to do so when someone can only come up with an excuse like, " it does not fit our culture, it is prehistoric, etc.," If it was rallied around because it would be against the law as far as terrorist activity is concerned, that would be different. But that is not necessarily the case. Believe it or not, some women really do make the choice to have that religion and to be governed by it, I say don't be a fascist to those who want to take it from them totally because of their hatred of muslims and their profiling it.
7 :
Try reading this http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/British_Airways_cross_controversy She was wearing the necklace on the outside of her uniform, contravening BA's uniform policy for jewellery.
8 :
I don't like the idea behind the Burqa. It's just hanging on to the past as far as I'm concerned.. BUT If we start letting the government dictate fashion choices, where's it going to end?
9 :
Based on certain interpretations of the Holy Qu'ran, many a Muslim agree that the burqa, or its variants, are necessary attire for women to protect their purity and beauty from mens' sexual desires. My interpretation of the Qu'ran is that women should dress modestly, in clothes that aren't skin-tight, don't wear tons of sparkly jewelry or makeup, and don't act to bring immodest attention on yourself. According to the book, the reason for this modest clothing is to show that you are a believer in God, and for men not to sexually assault you. Because men upon seeing a woman scantily clad revert to their caveman ways and want to club her and bring her to their cave. Haha. You asked for my opinion, and you got an honest reply. I hope people aren't so ignorant to thumbs this down.
10 :
I think the burqa is a hideous symbol of male repression of women, but it's very doubtful that a total ban could be enforced in the UK, and I doubt that it would be enforced considering the UK's commitment to freedom of religion, and human rights. The French will have problems with that too I suspect. What we need to do is make sure that women are sufficiently protected from abusive religions.

Hello! i'm Muslim and i would like to chat with U on that topic But, not here because here, we can't exchange our opinion. My Address = Shehzad_aps2010@yahoo.com In the end of 2nd paragraph U said, "you don't serve god in the things that you wear but in the things that you do".Its your opinion. My opinion is, In my view, it is also a work (not only wearing different dresses). Because, if (Wearing Different Dresses) was just a Useless thing, then why don't people live Naked??? Can someone proofread my essay

Can someone proofread my essay?
Just fix some grammar and spelling issues, and maybe gimme advice or whatnot. Thanks! you can send it after your proofread it to my email if you want! And please no rude comments on my position on health care. â€Å“Great physicians and nurses, skilled, caring and unparalleled in their training, intervened in my life and probably saved it. I was lucky but other Americans are not. It is time to speak again and stand again for the ideal that in the richest nation ever on this planet, it is wrong for 41 million Americans, most of them in working families, to worry at night and wake up in the morning without the basic protection of health care.” -Senator John Kerry The United States of America is the only wealthy, industrialized nation in the whole world that does not offer some sort of socialized medicine. Our current health care system consumes more money than similar nations, yet still leaves over 42 million Americans uninsured. 42 million Americans live in fear that they will substain some sort of injury and illness that could potentially put them in major debt or bankruptcy. For the sole superpower in the world, this is unacceptable. Health Care is a fundamental right that should be upheld by the United States government in order to maintain public health and keep it’s citizens thriving. A system that allows health care only to be attained by your income or your employer’s benefits is contrary to the belief that Americans have the right to Life, Liberty, and pursuit of Happiness. The United States of America spends more on health care than any other country in the world. Countries that utilize Universal health care are spending lesss money than the United States, yet still have a more effficent health care system. In the United States, total health spending accounted for 15.3% of the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) in the United States. In comparison, in Canada it was 10%, Switerland 11.3%, France 11.1%, and Germany 10.6%. The problem with the United States health care system is that that not all of this money spent on health care is actually getting to the hospitals and patients. A study shown at the Harvard Medical School found that Health care bureaucracy cost the United States 399.4 billion dollars in 2003, that is 31% of total health care spending in the United States (Thomson 62). Compare that to 16.7% for Canada (Thomson 62). Despite all these high costs of health care the United States still has over forty-two million people without health care and millions more with inadequate health care. It’s estimated that by switching to Universal health care the United States could cut back spending by as much as 286 million annualy. (Thomson 63). It is estimated that with the 286 billion dollars we’d save with a Universal health care policy, we would be enough to cover all of the uninsured and provide full prescirption drug coverage to everyone (Thomson 63). The United States’s health care performance has been slowly going downhill since the 1980’s. With the colossal amounts of money that United States spends on Health care efficency would be expected. Twenty years ago the United States had the highest life expetancy with the same health care system we use today. As of today the World Health Organization (or WHO) ranked the United States thirty-seventh for overall health care performance (Thomson 56). This decrease in efficency is due to other countries adopting Universal health plans, leaving the United States in the dust. In Canada for example, Canadians live on average three years longer then their American-counterparts. The Canadian infant mortality rate also stood at 5.4 deaths per a thousand babies. In comparison, the United States’s infant mortality rate is 6.9, with countries like Japan, Sweden, Norway, and Finland all having some of the lowest infant mortality rates. Even countries in the developing world are suprassing the United States. A baby born in El Salvador for example, has a higher chance of surviving than a baby born in Detroit. This is all astounding considering the billions of dollars we spend on health care. Competing countries are spending less money per person for health care and yet still have a healthier public with no one uninsured. This is a wake-up call to the United States government; we need a national health care policy or we will fall behind other nations on general public health. Over eighteen thousand Americans die every year of lack of health insurance; this denotes that Americans are suffering with lack of Universal health care. Granted, not all of uninsured Americans die, but the consequences can still be dire. Almost almost 50% of all bankrupcty filings cited as due to medical causes (Michael Moore) With Universal health care, these numbers would be nil. Even with our socalized medicine for seniors, Medicare, is ineffective. Medicare doesn’t cover all medical expenses. Medicare covers only 75% of the first 2,250 dollars worth of drugs due tomorrow haha

When does this essay have to be proof read by? I found a lot of mistakes that I would love to help you with, but at the moment I can't because I am on Y!A doing research for an essay due tomorrow... But I would love to help.. To start off...In the first sentence take away the word "whole" because when you mention something about the world, we already know that's in referring to the whole wide world. So just put... The United States of America is the only wealthy, industrialized nation in the world that does not offer some sort of socialized medicine. Secondly, I don't think it's right to start off a sentence with a number. Like when you said "42 million Americans live in fear...." Fix it and write "Forty-two million Americans live in fear..." And right after that you wrote "that they will substain some sort of injury and illness" The correct word is "sustain".. So just take away the "b" :) ♥

Who is my daughter's husband

Who is my daughter's husband?
I am a poor minister of Cauldkirk, a remote Scottish hamlet. Once an English tourist knocked on our door late in the evening - he lost his way. He fell ill, and stayed in bed for a month. My daughter, Felicia, and my sister Judith nursed him. He fell in love with Felicia and proposed to her. I enquired about his income, his character, and made them wait for 6 month to test them. Both waited, persisted, and married 6 months later. They went on a honeymoon to France and Switzerland. Felicia was very happy. They came back home, and she changed. I visited them, and she told me that her husband acted most strangely: for the first week he came out in the morning to do business in the City, he said; a week later morning business stopped and he started going out in the evening, to his club, he said. He has a closed private room, and buys my daughter expensive presents. Felicia saw him once talking to a loud and vulgar woman with yellow hair. I suspect that he is a gamester. What should we do? When we ask him directly, he shouts and becomes angry.

Advice on a guy HELP ME

Advice on a guy HELP ME!?
I'm 21 and I had a really bad breakup after 5 years. He was manipulative and controlling, he never beat me he just made me feel worthless. He threw me out his house when i was 2 months pregnant, then after i lost the baby (ectopic pregnancy) I found out he had been cheating on me for a number of months. I recently got accepted to university, to train to be a nurse. I've found a small 1 bedroom flat to move into. I've met a guy, he's so nice and we really like each other. However, he is moving to France for a year to study. I'm going to end up hurt again aren't I? Should I end it? I don't want to bother my friends with this because they're fed up with me =/.

Its hard but anyone who is going to be leaving is someone who is going to be hard to date. I would just stay friends so neither of you get attached before he leaves. If he ends up not going to france to study and stays local then I would say go for it. But a year.? can you really see yourself trying to stay together for a whole year without seeing each other? I mean that is a long time and far away. Wish you the best- Do something soon so theres no hurting.
2 :
Carry on with your plans to better yourself. Don't let a guy influence any choices you make or let them bring you down. If you two aren't close then it will be okay. Try to stay in contact with each other while he is away and if its meant to be then things will work out when he gets back. If the relationship is serious then it should last if it is strong enough and the trust is there.
3 :
long distance relationships are tough, sometimes they can work but i think the best thing is to just stay friends, keep in touch and focus on your studies, thats where your priority should be. you also just got off a bad breakup, give yourself time to sort stuff out on your own and move on. Much as it hurts you are so much better off now that you're out of that bad relationship.

I lost my too weak pain medication... and all my other meds... But don't yell. I'm serious.

I lost my too weak pain medication... and all my other meds... But don't yell. I'm serious...?
I'm serious. By the way. So please don't start freaking out on me... So first of all. I got in a moped accident in france 2 years ago. My head hasn't stopped hurting since then, but it flares up at times, about once a day, and it's miserable. Absolutely miserable. I'm only 18 though, and my mom believed I was faking it. However, 3 months ago, I said "screw it, I'm 18 now, I'm going to see a freaking neurologist." I showed them my ER records (where my head hurt so bad I couldn't move) and showed them the absences I've had in school, and gave them my school nurse's number to call, because she's seen me throw up and lay around in her office for hours on end in pain. He called for an MRI and prescribed me a few hydrocodone 5's (which i'd taken previously from the ER after being given a higher dosage) I also have two types of headaches, one which he diagnosed as a migraine, and gave me relpax for, which helps a lot, and virapamil as a preventative. When he got my MRI back he said it showed serious neck damage and perscribed me 1-2 350mg soma a day, and 1 7.5mg hydrocodone every other day. Although the somas help a million, they've made it so that when my head flares up, it's worse. I break them in half and take 3 halfs a day, letting them wear off near bedtime. I wake up a lot though and throw up in the middle of the night. The hydrocodones work very well, but i'd like to be able to take the 10mg ones like they gave me last fall at the ER, and i'd like to be able to take them once a day. My head just hurts enough that I need them. However, onto the losing all my meds part... I was diagnosed at like age 8 with a terrible memory. My father (whom i no longer live with) didn't understand why I forgot everything she said to me, and my friends said to me, and how far i'd gotten in video games, and what i did earlier that day... So he got me tested... I took tests for hours on end, and have taken them again 4 more times since then(most recently, a few weeks after i turned 17, so a year ago.) They've all shown that my memory is somewhere in the 15-20 %ile range, and that my intellegence is somewhere in the 99.5-99.8 %ile range. (for instance, I can't memorize physics formulas, but I can do the derivatives to find them based on basic logic in my head in seconds, without writing them down.) I take adderall off-label (ish? because some of memory is linked to attention) for memory, and it helps, but i try not to take it on days where i'm not doing anything because i don't want to build a tolerance. So. Now I've lost all my meds. The Virapamil, the Relpax, the Hydrocodone, the Soma, and the Adderall... So what do I do? Call my Pharmacy? Call my neurologist (who gives me the virapamil, relpax, hydrocodone and soma) or call my GP (who, upon seeing the report from the testing, gives me the adderall) And if i call and report them lost, I'm almost positive that they won't give me an increase in strength for the pain meds. However, I cannot deal with this pain. I'm wearing sunglasses inside and typing on this screen and it's still so bright it hurts my head... So what do I do? Oh. I forgot to mention how I lost them. I had them all in a bag in my car getting ready to go to athens after prom, then I heard from a friend who said he was on his way to my house, i thought i was going up there... I cleaned out my car and threw a ton of stuff away, took it down to the garbage can, and then, on the way to pick up my prom date, needed something for my head and knew everything was still in my car in the bag (a separate bag from my clothes.) so i turned around and nothing was in my backseat. So either someone walked in my room, grabbed my keys, and unlocked my car while i was in my room getting ready for prom, or i moved them somewhere, or i threw them away. I texted my mom that my head hurt at prom, and she asked why i didn't take something so i explained it to her. then today she just asked why my head hurt so i explained that i didn't know where my meds were. so now i'm asking here.

Call your neurologist and your GP. Explain the situation and see what they say.
2 :
Well...you can call all your doctors who prescribe your medications...all of them from both doctors, and explain how you lost your medications.I just hope you have a good explanation as to why you lost them, and hopefully both doctors will agree to a new refill. You should have asked the doctor who prescribes the hydrocodone for a higher dose whenever you needed it...a long time ago or whenever it was that you first needed a higher dose.I wouldn't ask now seeing how your already in a bind. That would look suspicious. So,call both doctors if you really need all your medications, and if not...call only the doctor from which medications that you ONLY need for right now. And,explain the situation...but I wouldn't even ask for a higher dose of the hydrocodone. Not now anyway. Hope everything works out for you.Take care.

Why do the developed left-leaning countries (Europe) usually have a much lower income than Americans

Why do the developed left-leaning countries (Europe) usually have a much lower income than Americans?
Obviously because their taxes are higher which allows them to get all kinds of free stuff, but even when taken into account isn't it still far less? In general, if you were a nurse who made 73,000 per year in the US (so, lets say this was your job https://uwhires.admin.washington.edu/eng/candidates/default.cfm?szCategory=jobprofile&szOrderID=61946&szCandidateID=0&szSearchWords=&szReturnToSearch=1) You would have a pretty dang nice condo or apartment, car, could pay for college, get healthcare through your employer, etc. But what if you had the same job in France, UK, Sweden, Germany, etc? It seems like life would just be better here...am I wrong? Average income per person: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_by_GDP_%28PPP%29_per_capita

They have a lower cost of living since the government provides so much, so they don't need to make so much to still live comfortably.
2 :
The answer is not at all clear from what you present. I doubt there is a great deal of difference.
3 :
I think it is a flaw in the European system that discriminates against liberals. Everyone knows that liberals are severely mentally retarded. In Europe, it is legal to discriminate against the retarded. As such, liberals suffer from lower wages and higher unemployment.
4 :
What is their cost of living and currency exchange rates involved in your calculations? If they are paying taxes, where is the free stuff? Do us Americans have a higher quality of life to go with our higher pay checks, though I do not make 73 thousand.
5 :
Because progressive ideas fail every time...
6 :
Wrong - first of all, the Scandinavian countries have the world's highest standard of living, and we in Britain have free -and very good- healthcare for all, irrespective of job or income. So I challenge your sources, for a start. Pay for college? Scots and Irish students pay no fees, though English students and their families are robbed thanks to a government of RIGHT wing bastards. And what about your unemployed? I tell you, I'd rather be out of work in Stockholm than in Detroit. Now awa' to your trailer park - higher standards of living, indeed! PS - Bunny - think about what you've just said. Logically. It's one of the funniest things I've read in years. PPS - how childish to send rude notes to responders who disagree with the assumptions behind a question, and challenge sources which, you'll be pleased to hear, include the CIA 'factbook', widely known as the CIA joke book. How naive, too, to believe that quality of life is a function of income alone - but, then, I suppose it's all we can expect of an American....

Did cost cutting play a roll in French heat wave deaths

Did cost cutting play a roll in French heat wave deaths?
France lost nearly 20,000 people in two heat waves. one in 1983 and nearly 15000 in 2003. http://www.scielosp.org/scielo.php?script=sci_arttext&pid=S0042-96862003001000020 >>>In addition, the response was "strongly aggravated" by the seasonal reduction of doctors, nurses and in-service hospital beds.<<< First I find it interesting that there is a seasonal change in medical service. But more importantly 13 days after the start of the heat wave is when the government decided to call back doctors and staff from their vacations and open up closed facilities. You're a medical professional on vacation at the beach. You're aware of nearly two weeks of news reporting a large number of deaths. Yet you don't return to work. I am trying to think of a reason why this might be so. Is this a result of the government trying to cut costs by partially shutting down services. Individuals on vacation would not see the need to rush back as they understood that the wards they worked in would be closed and the support staff also on vacation.
